Become an Edward de Bono ‘Thinking School’
Your school can be recognised as an Edward de Bono ‘Thinking School’. This can be achieved if one third or more of your teaching staff (full time equivalent) has received a full 6 hour training module in either technique. Then simply demonstrate that you have taken the original training and embedded the tools and techniques into various aspects of the curriculum or the management of your school.
As a Thinking School you receive a certificate of endorsement from Dr Edward de Bono in recognition of the school’s status as an Edward de Bono Thinking School and will be given a kite mark that can be used on all of the school’s headed paper and official documentation.
Edward de Bono ‘Training Schools’
Once your school has achieved Edward de Bono Thinking School status and providing that we still have availability in your area, your school may apply to become an Edward de Bono Training School. As a Training School you can nominate one of your teachers to become accredited as an Edward de Bono Trainer and your school will be able to offer Edward de Bono Training to teachers and people working with children and young people from other organizations, thus generating an income for your school.
As an Edward de Bono Training School you would have other schools referred to you to observe your best practice and gain insight into your application of the de Bono techniques.
A Training School that continues to demonstrate excellence in the application of the Edward de Bono techniques and Tools will become recognised as a Centre of Excellence
