I have been a trainer in de Bono Tools since 2000 and a Master trainer since 2005. My work with the Tools began as a result of working for 10 years in industry after a 17 year career as a teacher. Through my work with young people, both inside and outside the classroom, it became clear to me that they very often lacked thinking strategies to enable them to be resourceful and enterprising. The de Bono Tools provide such strategies that can be learnt by all ages and abilities. As I have become more proficient and familiar with the Tools I am constantly amazed at their transformational power both for students and their teachers. For me they are to learning what correct breathing is to an athlete. Without them you can do ok, with them you can cover more ground faster and more efficiently. I have delivered many training sessions to Primary and Secondary teachers, other educational professionals working with young people and students themselves. I love the energy that they foster in the learning environment and consistently the comments about the training is how much fun it is. My training sessions are very active and my aim is to provide the best environment for people to discover the power of the Tools for themselves.
